Stones

Is there any greater feeling in the world than getting up at 03.30 in the morning and creeping down to an east facing beach to watch the sunrise on the coast. This is a picture taken in Lundin Links, Fife. The beauty of the first glimpse of light with the reddish glow, coupled with the soft sound of water lapping up the shoreline is certainly a memory to behold. At this ludicrous time you are transported to another world and the worries of buy, sell, deposit, withdraw, hedge fund, junk bond, profit warning disappear like the stars and night sky.
In the Beginning...............

30 years in Financial Services and now the credit crunch
I mirror the elderly boxer who now feels every punch
I've given my all and much much more and now its time to choose
A brand new road to lift away these Financial Services blues
The big black dog that followed me for most of the last few years
That rabied me to sullen thoughts and very many tears
Is now in chain and muzzle and in a far-off place
And now I'm free to cherish this journey that I face
So hope that you will join me at a crossroads of my career
And wish me luck as I share with you the laughs, the joy, the fear!
